These pre-treatments are usually a high traffic lane cleaner or an organic based cultured enzyme to break down organic proteins that reside in your carpets or upholstery. All pre-treatments are agitated and groomed into the pile to ensure that all the soil will be suspended for extraction. Grooming will also help matted high traffic lanes to stand up again, making cleaning more efficient.
Once the pre-treatments have set-up, the next major step is the extraction process, which is to remove the cleaning solutions and all of the soils from deep down in the fibers of your carpet or upholstery. This step is AQ service is where the most time can be spent to make sure the very best result is obtained.
Now that everything is all clean and soil free, AQ will make sure your happy with the service performed and then go over the fibers with a pile or nap grooming process to help the drying time. Usually at this time it is recommended to apply a scotchguard or teflon treatment. This will seal and protect your fibers from wear and tear damage and major straining.

Cool air circulation is mandatory for the best dry time. By placing fans out, or using the fan setting on your furnace and/or open windows for cross-circulation.
